About Greenways Travel Club (GTC)
Based in Mikulov town, in the heart of the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic, GTC specializes in soft tourism, particularly for small groups and individuals. We are known for giving special attention to your personal tastes and requests. We have been serving tourists along the Vienna-Prague Greenways since 1996.

Tomas has been organizing active tourism holidays since 1996 and has been involved in the tourism industry since 1992. He loves cycling in South Moravia and is interested in nature, particularly birds of prey restoration projects. |
Roman Ruzicka - product manager, guide |

Roman has been in our team since 2016. He graduated in History and English at the Masaryk University and had been teaching for thirteen years before he joined us. His favourite books are maps, so combined with his attention to detail, you can let yourself be guided by his route instructions on self-guided tours. |
Petra Puckova - sales manager |

Petra joined our team in 2013. She spent some time in the UK and studied English at the Masaryk University. She likes cycling, reading, watching movies, skiing, believes that seeing new places is the best way to broaden one´s horizons and her motto is „where there is a will, there is a way“. |

Jano has been active in setting up the Amber Trail Greenway linking projects of communities between Budapest and Cracow. |
| Barbora Hammond - guide |
|
Barbora has been proclaimed as “National Treasure of the Czech Republic” by some of our clients on a tour. She is local history enthusiast and loves to pass this on to our clients. She will charm you with the delights of Central Europe. |

Hana is a freelance translator and has translated a book about the band U2 into Czech. She loves sports, especially cycling. She was dubbed "Mother Duck" on one of our guided tours because she moved from the first to last client and back again, checking to see everyone was OK. |

Petr started the first private English language school in the Czech city of Brno in 1989. As this was during the last year of Socialism the school was illegal in its first year. He discovered mountain bikes in 1991 and has not looked back. |

Petr has traveled to the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Middle East, the Far East and South America. He translates into English and teaches English. He is a trained volleyball umpire and lives in the city of Brno. |

Tom gained his professional experience as a Central European tour guide for American choirs and orchestras and now he combines it with his love for mountain bike riding. He is very responsible, but loves humor, good stories and having fun. You will not be bored if Tom is your guide. |
| Ladislav Ptacek - guide |
|
Ladislav has translated a book by the leading author, James Carter on Heritage Interpretation. Heritage interpretation is, in essence, how to present natural and cultural heritage in an interesting and informative way. Expect to learn something new and be taken care of when Ladislav is your guide! |
